Album Review

Fort Worth, Texas-based indie rockers Green River Ordinance followed up their well-received 2012 long-player Under Fire with this seven-track EP. Chasing Down the Wind continues in the vein of its predecessor, offering up a collection of songs that lean harder on the alt-country/folk/Americana side of the indie rock bar, with highlights arriving via the evocative string-laden ballad "Cannery River," the wistful dirt-road rocker "It Ain't Love," and the lovely and inspirational, mandolin-led gospel anthem "Better Love.", Rovi

Outstanding Music

I've always been a GRO fan. Their musicianship has always wowed me. This is by far my favorite with the home style country gathering type playing. The song Better Love talks about Jesus Christ dying for our sins. Amazing song. Buy this album now. @guitarguy56

Great Record.

Perfect amount of folk and country with solid vocals! Better Love is my Fav!

The absolute best

Green River Ordinance never disappoints and this EP is even better than I could have imagined. Josh Jenkins vocals serenade the listener in a way I've never heard before and the lyrics have so much meaning behind them. GRO is truly the one band whose music I download before giving it an initial listen. I know it's going to be good. In fact, I know its going to be great. Buy this now you won't regret it.
