Give it up for Brother Dege

This is best evolution of delta / southern blues to hit the scene in a long time. It is experimental, infused with a punk / rock senibility and still stays true to the genera. If you're into rock, blues, or avantgarde or anything with a southern edge - check it out.

Not gonna lie, I was introduced to Brother Dege through Django. That being said, this album is amazing. Every song is written with so much soul. Brother Dege makes bands like Mumford and Sons, sound like Taylor Swift. I honestly don't buy music very often, but I gladly spent every penny on this album.

The Girl who Wept Stones was used in a trailer for The Afflicted... I must have watched that trailer 8 times Shazaming till I got it!

Thankful for this music.
