Follow the Flock, Step in S**t. In the hands (?) of the Locust, the age-old adage happily molts its colloquial hominess, getting reborn as a minute and a half of gutter slime, insectoid scream-core that cocoons you in saliva and squelch. "Coffin Nails" and "Red" similarly crush dual vocalist dynamics, furious percussion, and unhinged snot ropes of guitar and electronic noise into chaotic yet incredibly succinct time stamps barely larger than a minute. On a surface five inches wide, there's no escape from the rage. [The title track and "Coffin Nails" date from a 1999 flexi split with Jenny Piccolo; "Red" originally appeared on the 2000 Pessimiser comp Cry Now, Cry Later.]
