Best soundtrack ever!!

"This is amazing!!!" - Hiccup

A superior sequel to an already wonderful score.

John Powell as usual proves that he's got the chops. He blends familiar themes from the first movie's score with new elements and fresh elaborations. This score features more sweeping tracks and moving vocals, while keeping its playfulness. "Where No One Goes", the theme song by Jónsi and Powell, nicely incorporates musical riffs and percussion from the score, something "Sticks & Stones" of the first film did not do. The only thing the score lacks is the one outstanding track to mirror "Forbidden Friendship" from the first film. But the rest of the score, including the vocal cameos from cast members, definitely makes up for it.

This is seriously an amazing soundtrack, I bought it the second the clock struck twelve for the 10th. John Powell does a beautiful job and I loved how Gerard Butler and the others sang in one of the tracks. This movie is going to be fantastic. How To Train Your Dragon has been one of my biggest inspirations in the passed several years and the music just inspires me more. Dean Deblois and John Powell and Cassandra Cowell have created the most magnificent story that has ever been told in both writing and animation.

If you need positivity, inspiration, and something that will truly blow your mind beyond all understanding, you’ve GOT to buy this soundtrack. Also, don’t forget to get the 1st movies’ soundtrack as well. These two are beautiful works of art for your ears and you won’t regret the purchases.

Go Hooligans!
