This is an amazingly underrated album and it contains one of Keith Caputo's most amazing songs to date entitled Human Comedy. This project is different than Keith's solo work and very different from Life of Agony. It's a lot of samples and effects and crazy drumming/percussion and vocal effects, but it's wild. Heavy sex and drug references. It's a shame they didn't go any further with this. There were rumours of a possible remaster as well as bonus tracks, but i've heard nothing of it yet. Definately worth buying. Almost every song is excellent.

Freax is an album split in two categories: one, an homage to Porno For Pyros (in my opinion) the other, a talented musician pursuing his creative impulses. Caputo flourishes when he lets himself slip into the beauty of melody (“Human Comedy” “Ice”). When he does channel P.F.P. it’s done with pop sensibility; where Farrell and crew dig into lengthy sections that don’t propel, Caputo excavates catchy bridges and choruses (“Mosquito Bed”).
If anything, this album leaves me with songs that get stuck in my head, and a hope that Caputo will keep fleshing out an original voice in the world of music.
