I am assuming this is a release of unreleased/shelved BHTM music. What a sin. This album is absolutely a classic. I always felt there were two BHTM sounds, 1. being the radio friendly poppy sound they generally release and 2. The jam bandish sound of the album "midnight radio". This album is everything midnight radio was and then some. Aside from lacking "Bittersweet" this album is essential jam/bluesy Big Head Todd. If only this band released every album that sounded like this, istead of the norm which seems to be aiming at rock/pop radio play.

Live Performance in PGH

Just saw this group live in Pittsburgh. Enjoyed the music so much - remembering from the 90's their great singles like circle, bitter sweet and broken hearted savior - and really enjoying their new music...I was so glad to hear it AALLLL!

FINALLY .. BHT&M new music from the BIG west

It's been a LONG wait... I had given up begging Brian and Todd to release these INCREDIBLE out takes...... from the early days in Boulder Colorado ...... I always believed some of these tunes were great ... some fantastic. It just geauxs to show, I was on target all along/ they were great all along. The good news is there is much more fantastic material that hopefully will see the light of day soon. And thats beautiful news considering BIG HEAD TODD & the MONSTERS have continue to deliver the Rock and Roll goods year after year after year ...
I've seen this band LIVE in concert 50X times in 20 years ..... Never a bad show .... ALWAYS GREAT..... !

During the late '80s and early '90s, Big Head Todd & the Monsters (the Colorado-based trio of guitarist/keyboard player Todd Park Mohr, bassist Rob Squires, and drummer Brian Nevin) built their audience through constant touring, playing college towns across the country. With these tours, they built a solid fan base before they had even signed to a major label. Although they released a number of records, they weren't quite able to transfer the live appeal of their laid-back, slightly jazzy blues-based...
