I bought this album and loved it immediately. It is so perfect. The lyrics have meaning, the songs have beautiful melodies and harmonies, there is a wide range of depth. Shady Bard has an independent, folksy feel to their music. Their sound is based on synaesthesia, a condition where two or more senses are combined automatically and involuntarily--usually sight and sound. Their album manages to convey a different color for each song on it. From fires, an orange, to treeology, a green. Every song is incredible. I would strongly recommend this album to just about anyone.
