John Moremen plays an nice and peppy brand of indie pop/rock not too dissmilar to that of the band he drums for, the Orange Peels. He has a sweet voice and writes good songs. "Time for Everyone" is a low-key melodic tune that would fit right in on a Velvet Crush record. "Cemetary Row" starts off slowly with a meandering piano intro but soon develops into a mid-tempo lament with great backing vocal harmonies and a soaring pedal steel solo. Moremen roped in some pretty decent sidemen including Alison Faith Levy of the Loud Family on bass, D.J. Bonebrake of X on drums, David Immerglück of Counting Crows on pedal steel, and Victor Krummenacher of Camper Van Beethoven adding some all-important handclaps. This is a very pleasant EP.
