Customer Reviews

If you haven't started listening to Capitol Basement yet, you should. They do semi-regular shows around Seattle, Washington, and are definitely worth the $5 or whatever to see. If you don't live in Seattle (and even if you do), buy this album. Capitol Basement is reminiscent of Pearl Jam and the Screaming Trees. They're definitely an indie band, but have the guitar solos and standard rock instrumentation of the more rock-n-roll groups. Overall, I would suggest buying this album because if you don't, you'll be missing out on some great fresh talent.

Hope They Make It Big

I went to this thing at the Seattle Drum School; it was suppost to be a performance, and what it was was a big concert of bands from the school playing. During intermission, while the next band was setting up I saw this Capitol Basement CD for sale. I didn't know anything about them or even if they would be good, but I bought the CD. I don't know if they even performed because I left after the third band. Later I listened to the CD and it was great. I hope they come out with a whole album because I would deffinitly buy it! Hope they really make it big! They rock!

This is Evan Easthopes old neighbor here, and Capitol Basement rocks! I think Sit and Stay and Creepy Little Kid are awesome but so is everything else.
