Truly Inspiring & Beautiful!!!!

The first time I heard this song was while I was watching television. It was playing in the background of an All-state commercial. I then went on-line and looked up the few lyrics that I heard playing in the background. Low and behold I discovered that it was Lifehouse. Should I have even been suprised? I then found out the song was created in memory of teenage loved ones who lost their lives way to soon and perished in automoblie accidents. And also for the loved ones they have left behind who miss them everyday they are away. At the end of the day this song can be for anyone who is reminiscing of love lost. This was a truly thoughtful gesture by All-State and Lifehouse. It is amazing how Lifehouse can capture our thoughts, prayers, and hearts and apply them into a song so beautifully. Jason Wade's unique powerful voice goes over the instrumental like it was simply meant to be. But what else would you expect from the group that brought us the timeless classic "You & Me" which will be creating relationships and gracing weddings for years to come. And yes, I did say "timeless". It's a song that will never grow old. I am a huge Lifehouse fan and if you do not own any Lifehouse material I do not know what you are waiting for. I urge you to purchase some as soon as possible. You seriously do not know what you are missing. I promise, you will not be disappointed. This group apply's their heart and soul into every track they are apart of. And just to show that there is a message in music...... Please buckle those seatbelts, drive safely, drink responsibly, and be responsible. Where there is a cause there is a effect, your actions can truly have a huge impact on others. Enjoy the music and thanks for reading!!!!

Wow

Lifehouse is so amazing! I am so proud to be a fan. This song is so deep. Jason wrote it about something that really made a difference in his life, and this song will help others that have lost loved ones in accidents. Amazing! The allstate comercial makes makes me want to cry every time I hear it. It's so beautiful.

true to life

this song was writen by Jason Wade for an Allstate commercial on teenage driving which shows teenagers going out for a drive and then states that so many of them will never make it home. Wade said that he tried to imagine what it would be like to lose a loved one in a car crash when he wrote this song. I lost my best friend almost a year ago to a car accident, and everytime i see that commercial or hear this song it makes me think of her cry. Wade was able to take my feelings about losing her and turn them into a song. The lyrics are so true to life, and definitley give me comfort whenever i think about my best friend.

Led by singer/songwriter Jason Wade, Lifehouse emerged in the early 2000s with a commercial blend of pop/rock melody and throaty, post-grunge vocals.
