EDITORS’ NOTES

2014 Forest Hills Drive presents unflinchingly deep examinations of J. Cole’s coming-of-age years (“03’ Adolescence,” “No Role Modelz”). The production gets lush and soulful (“G. O. M. D.”) as he looks at his beginnings and where his life has led him, and his delivery is as subtle and sophisticated as the beats surrounding it.

COLE WORLD

I'm telling you he worked hard on this project and it won't disappoint!! Can't wait!!

@mosamusic99 ,

YES! 🙏

I've been a fan of J. Cole since the "Friday Night Lights" mixtape came out. After hearing that, I did my research, listened to "The Warm Up", & I've been a fan since. Born Sinner is a classic! I can play it from front to back multiple times & not get bored or annoyed. I have no doubt Cole is going to create another classic with "2014 Forest Hills Drive".
