Not Bad....but what happened to the old Charles?

Wasn't really impressed with this song, but I'm down to support Charles Hamilton any day. Its not a bad song, but its nowhere near the potential that he showed on stuff like the Pink Lavalamp. I think that CH has the skills and potential to be one of the best artists in the game but hasnt shown that talent in a long time. And, as much as I was hoping for it to come back in his first single off his album... it didnt. Three years ago I was convinced Charles Hamilton would be the next huge name in music. Now, he is struggling to even produce an album. What happened? When he first started off with the hamiltonization process, it was a huge series of mixtapes. Maybe a little too much. Hes released over 30-40 mixtapes in three years. And most of them were awesome. There were easily enough songs out of these mixtapes to make for a killer album and there would still be another 50 good songs for him to use to get his hype up. I'll still rock some of his old mixtapes. He just over-did it. The wait for an album took forever. He should have used brooklyn girls as his lead single and released The Pink Lavalamp as his album. Not sure what the commercial response would have been, but it certainly would have been much higher than what he is getting now. Soon it just started going downhill. His music wasnt quite as good anymore. He announced that This Perfect Life would be his debut album. Before he could even release it, he was dropped by Interscope and went on a 6 month hiatus. When This Perfect Life leaked onto the internet this past fall, it wanst anything special. Wasnt even on as high of a level as some of his mixtapes. He announced his comeback with Normalcy (a mixtape). I heard the first song- New Music From Charles Hamilton- and was pumped. He went hard. "All Rise For the Hamilton Anthem/Critics that Can't Stand Him/Triggers that Can't Blam Him/Executives that Can't Ban Him" Then the rest of the mixtape was like he had nothing to talk about. It was just average, kinda wack music. Same with The Binge Vol. 3, CH's last mixtape. I was hoping the album and this single would bring the old CH back but its just not happening.

I just want the old charles hamilton back. Charles, im down to support your music any day, but if that CH from the days of The Pink Lavalamp is still out there.... we want him back

This song is DOPE! Buy this song and support CH.
