The Worst Singing

This album is an fine vison of what not to do when singing. The voices are to heavy for the baroqe music they are singing. The soprano sings "O Sleep, Why Dost Thou Leave Me" as if it were a march to death. The Tenor is not much better, and the orchestra sounds like somthing you would hear at a bad music college.

Mediocre At Best

My guess is that this is marketed to history teachers and the education community. The song selection is very solid, but I believe a majority of listeners who've never heard these songs before would be turned off by both the lackluster performances and the shoestring production quality.

Not exactly the best recording of Where'er You Walk that I've heard.
