Album Review

MCA Special Products' Country Bluegrass rounds up ten highlights from the Osborne Brothers' recordings for Decca in the '60s. Although these recordings don't find the Osbornes at their most traditional, they're nevertheless quite enjoyable, particularly for casual fans who aren't looking for anything more than a sampler. Among the featured songs are "Roll Muddy River," "Blue Heartache," "Don't Let Smokey Mountain Smoke Get in Your Eyes," "Lizzie Lou," and "My Old Kentucky Home (Turpentine and Dandelion Wine)."

All though i'm just 16, i can remeber when the cassete came out and i listened to it with my grandparents in the car. I am so happy i have found it!!!! It is a must buy!!!!!

Incredible Bluegrass

Just about everyone has probably heard Rocky Top at one time or another, but Roll Muddy River and Georgia Pineywoods are great as well. Love it!!!!!

Bobby and Sonny Osborne were born in Hyden, KY, but raised in Dayton, OH. As children, their father...
