Editors’ Notes

Greatest Hits…So Far!!! gathers 16 singles from P!nk’s first five albums, bookending with three previously unreleased songs. “There You Go” (from her 2000 debut album, Can't Take Me Home) bubbles and pops with effervescent R&B punctuated by acoustic guitar. But “Get the Party Started” from her sophomore album, Missundaztood, is a streamlined dance-floor banger with a more confident P!nk, who declares: ”I’m coming up/So you better get this party started." Conversely, “Don’t Let Me Get Me” from the same album displays a universal vulnerability. “Stupid Girls” is a standout that cleverly rails against the Girls Gone Wild mentality. Of the three newer cuts, “Raise Your Glass” best exemplifies P!nk’s tendency to champion the underdog.

She grew up in a musical family and was a regular on the Philadelphia club scene by the age of 13, first as a...
