Album Review

In their spirited third release, Toronto, Ontario’s the Creepshow fine-tune their psychobilly sound and focus on the key theme of revenge. Frontwoman/guitarist Sarah “Sin” Blackwood and organist the Reverend McGinty ping-pong vocals back and forth, spouting out vengeful venom like “All the victims left behind will turn to rust,” “I’m bitter to the bone,” and “No one’s here to get your back/You’re such a sorry little rat” along with the thrashing pitter-pat beats of drummer Matt “Pomade" Gee and double bass of Sean “Sickboy” McNab. The majority of They All Fall Down plays out in the usual tight, effervescent gutter-punk aggression that defines the band, while “Sleep Tight” takes an unusual turn as a ‘60s pop song in the style of “Earth Angel” about a girlfriend haunting her former lover/murderer from her grave.

Customer Reviews

A strong release from a dope band!

Great release from a consistently good band. The songs are fast and energetic and Sarah Sin's vocals are more dominant and powerful than they were in Run For Your Life. Gotta love psychobilly!

One of the best albums in years

If you are just discovering The Creepshow you are in for a treat. A little bit rockabilly, a little bit punk, a little bit doo-wop and a whole lot of fun. Musically they are incredible. In live, whew, they absolutely blow you away. This album is a little turn from their first two and it is incredible. I'll always have a spot in my heart for Cherry Hill and Zombies A.H.B but this album is by far my fave. if they are in a town near you, do yourself a treat, get on that hellbound ride and go check them out.

This is the best album I have bought in a year or two! The musicianship is solid. great vocals, song writing. The album is fast and fun and is certainly the best of The Creepshow's three albums. You will not be disappointed with this.
