taking it to the next level

It's more like dub step with a beat like hardcore. A little different, very unique, I kinda like it, but it's not true hardcore.

I know a lot of people will complain about this, and to be honest I came here in search of some new happy hardcore, but I've been longing for Hardcore that incorporates a wobble/oscillator as well and this is just what I needed. Speaking of which, somebody, somewhere, seriously needs to come up with a name for that instrument. Wobble/Oscillator is a) annoying to say b) awkward to say and even more awkward to explain and c) doesn't even cover all of the different ways that you can arrive at the "wubwub" sound. I shall call this new sound the "wubwub" for the rest of this post. Anyways, this is awesome. ever since I heard Kat on a Mission (Hyperforce and Keyes Remix) and I Need Air (breeze and chris unkown remix) I have wanted to hear more wubwub overlaying hardcore and here it is! Not that I want every artist on the face of the earth to start using wubwub as their primary instrument, which seems to be the trend, but I am excited that people are using it and I hope that they figure out how to use the wubwub in a way that adds to their music rather than dominating it.

edit to add: whoever came up with the idea of stacking and compressing waves (this is how the wubwub gets it's unique sound) should win a nobel prize in art... or whatever the equivalence is. what a genius.
