Vocalist Michael Degrena is a powerhouse vocalist sounding like a combination of Iced Earth's Matt Barlow, blended with Queensryche's Geoff Tate, raw raspy, metal with technical power metal vocals. Ad to this the technical mastery of the rest of the band and great song writing and you have a winning combination in every way for fans of these two metal sub genre's. There are even some slight progressive elements in thier music adding a bit more musicality to their brand of metal.

Order of Nine is a third-millennium heavy metal band from Pittsburgh, PA, whose music harks back to the many overlooked proto-power metal bands -- e.g. Jag Panzer, Helstar, Omen, early Queensrÿche, etc. -- that ‘80s thrash and pop metal pushed to the back pages and minor feature sections of Hit Parader magazine.
