iTunes Review

The band’s gift for soaring melodies is evident throughout Ghost Stories—particularly on the magnetic first single, “Magic.” Chris Martin’s heart-rending falsetto floats along in a haze of synth-washed ambience (as on the entrancing Kid A–influenced “Midnight”) or sparely accompanied by acoustic instruments (“Oceans,” “O”). Ghost Stories demonstrates the expressive power of understatement.

Customer Reviews

This album is a masterpiece <3

Just like everything Coldplay does. They know exactly what to do according to the current music trend. They never fail to amaze. :)

Ghost Stories

This is one of the best things I've ever heard in so happy to be a coldplayer and part of everything in it. Every single song had it's own feelings full of a mix of love and loneliness and it's like I was able to feel the emotions Chris wanted to send and share with us and of course his voice was magical as always and with the band on his side it's was simply perfect

Coldplay for 2014

Coldplay had put out a short but very sweet new album in Ghost Stories. It sounds more like old Coldplay than Mylo did but still modern. They keep getting better.

The group's emergence was perfectly timed; Radiohead had just released the overly cerebral Kid A, while Oasis had ditched two founding members and embraced psychedelic experimentation on Standing on the Shoulder of Giants....
