Customer Reviews

Metal that will crumble whole planets, make women cry & little boys grow beards.

In a sea of "metal" bands that more resemble boy bands and sing 4-part harmonies, this album is welcomed with opened arms by near-extinct true metal heads. This album will make you question your manhood and your music collection.

Do you enjoy watching a lion slaughter a gazelle? Do you like vocals that sound like a wolf defending it's kill? Beards? Broadswords? Do you like the smell of gun powder in the morning? Gun powder in your coffee? Do you like Viking ships? Do you enjoy cuddling...with grizzly bears? Is no-shave November not a month but a year long occurrence? Does twirking to you mean adjusting your junk? Do you have back hair? Are you as ugly as sin? Do you like double-bass that sounds like a machine gun on the beaches of Normandy? Do you put diesel on your Cheerios? Do you people refer to you as "sire"? Do you like to hunt big game...with your teeth? Did you think Justin Bieber was actually Hillary Swank from the movie "Boys Don't Cry", and made her cross over in to pop music? Do you prefer your steak still attached to the cow? Does "BAR fight" or "going CLUBBING" to you mean pummeling a man to death with a led pipe? Do you impregnate women by simply walking in to the same room?

Then this album is for you, my friend.

Do you drive a Prius? Have your nuts shriveled up to what resemble lady parts? Do you "side hug"? Do you hug at all? Do you trim your eye brows? Nose hair? Ear hair? Pubic hair? Do you do yoga? Flat iron your hair? Do you know what a manicure is? Do you own an iPhone? Do any of the of the musical styles you like end with the word "core"? Do you listen to Mumford & Sons? Do you wear skinny jeans? Your sister's jeans? Cut off jeans? Do you drink cocktails or beer with fruit in them? Do you own a Vespa? Do you have lots of friends that are girls? Do you eat salads? Do you pee sitting down?

Then move along, this album isn't for you.

Awesome!

I feel the same way about this album I felt from the reborn album.... Metal Masterpiece! Enough said!

dude below me

i just wanna say that, if anything, your whole " i couldnt see any of the songs in a movie trailer" comment is a VERY POOR way to explain why you didnt like this album... LS has never been a "movie trailer" type of band, coming from a fan since 1999 when i was in 7th grade.... if you dont like it fine but dont give a reason like that, because that is the LAST and i mean very LAST thing this band should be equated with.ANYWAY, from what im hearing it sounds pretty solid, personally i have not truly been blown away by LS since The Hammering Process. That said, i have sincerely enjoyed Conceived in Fire, The Infinite Order and the Ep but everything seems a bit lack luster. But I always enjoy their style, and of course their message.. There is no band like them and they have such a HARD hitting sound that its just jaw dropping, so im about to buy all the songs now but a preview of them has given me great impressions. Thank the Lord that this awesome band is still going strong. Bruce sounds as good as ever. Thank you, merry christmas, and God Bless.

Biography

Genre: Metal

Years Active: '90s, '00s

Living Sacrifice's long and impressive history stretches back over a decade. The Arkansas-based metal band has evolved from their early death metal-inspired rumblings into a crushing, staccato-driven, heavily percussive metallic behemoth that pummels listeners with intense riffage and a decidedly personal, though nevertheless, often evangelical lyrical viewpoint. Founding members Bruce Fitzhugh (guitars/vocals) and Lance Garvin (drums) have survived from the band's original incarnation, refocusing...
