Album Review

A focus on warped guitar noise and the odd, untraceable samples place Ghost in similar territory to earlier Third Eye material, though "Corpses as Bedmates" and "The Star's Gone Out" reveal a few interesting drum'n'bass patterns.

Amazingly Heady

The first time I heard this album I thought electronic music was just for dancing. I was dumb and young. This thing blew me away. It's spooky, dense, beautiful, the beats are tough, and in my book, it's just flawless. Matt Elliot's move into folk doom leaves me feeling a little… suicide-y, but Third Eye Foundation is spectacular in my book. From these dark, scratchy beginnings to the end days when he made some of the most hauntingly beautiful music I've ever heard. Check him out.
