iTunes Review

On Gigantoid, the blond locks and tanned complexions that defined Fu Manchu in their early years are tempered by the hard-earned wrinkles and scars of passing years. The band wear their age well. Kevin Hill is much more convincing as a vocalist now that his voice has acquired some gruffness, and the band play with more experience and athleticism. “Dimension Shifter,” “Evolution Machine,” and “Radio Source Sagittarius” can easily hold their own against the hordes of newcomers that have only recently adopted the style Fu Manchu have been plying for 20 years.

Instrumentaly it rocks, but unfortunatley the vocals sound the same on almost every song. This would have been a great album if not for that.

Heavy

Like some of the other reviewers, I had pretty much written them off after We Must Obey, sorry Fu Manchu bros, but its true... well, they are back!! Sound is consistent with early efforts but even Heavier!! Simple pentatonic riffs, still brilliant... good heavy riff rock "is what it isnt"...and Fu Manchu have absolutely mastered this... If you dig Daredevil, Action is a Go... you will dig this

YES!

I will go to my grave listening to Fu Manchu! Gigantoid is SOLID!
