If there's a better collection of singles, I'm not sure what it is. Certainly Andrew is the star of the show but without Craig Adams, Ben Gunn, and Gary Marx this just wouldn't be nearly as epic. I love FL&A and Floodland (and The Sisterhood)...but nothing compares to the earlier years (81-84). Valentine, Fix, Burn, and of course Heartland. This is honestly some of the best music ever produced. I can only hope that some day the demo and unreleased versions of old SOM music is released.

I've never been more committed to another band in my life. I adore sisters of mercy and this was my fav album of theirs. Thanks for all the years of wonderful music guys!

Almost all the songs it took me years and a ton of cash to buy on imports to get on vynel in the 80's are here. The Golden Goose is still out there: The Stairway To Heaven, there are two recordings of this song performed by Andrew and the band with Gary Marks, live! I Must Have This!!!! Although I can also be teased by just hearing it. Attention all in the Sisterhood: find that song, go on E-Bay and start the bidding, PLEASE

Eldritch originally formed the band in 1980 with guitarist Gary Marx and recorded its first single with...
