Why is this song about kissing girls

Last time I checked not all of these women are part of the LGBT community, yet the song is all about kissing women for fun?

seriously?

wow... we luv using a marginalized group in society to make profit... i don’t mean to undermine the feelings of the artists. however, this song has been over sexualized and glazed with the male gaze on wlw relationships. frankly, it wasn’t well thought out and relatively insensitive, especially considering cardi b’s transphobic comments of the past. this song makes it seem like it’s a trend to be queer and that it makes a person quirky, fun, and relatable. overall, not pleased. y’all know better.

Ignorant

This is just a bunch of straight women marginalizing the LGBTQ+ community. As a lesbian, I’m absolutely disgusted. Like Hayley Kiyoko said, “I’ve loved girls my whole life and I don’t need red wine to kiss a girl”. This song is not only horribly written and produced, the writers didn’t take into consideration how offensive this is. I just lost respect for all of the people that were involved in this song.
