EDITORS’ NOTES

The Verbs feature legendary drummer and producer Steve Jordan (Keith Richards, Neil Young), bassist Willie Weeks (George Harrison, David Bowie), legendary Japanese guitarist Tamio Okuda, and frontwoman Meegan Voss (The Poptarts, The Antoinettes). Inspired by DJ Howard Stern’s love for their version of Young’s “Only Love Can Break Your Heart,” the group decided to put their own spin on an album of covers, including The Kinks’ “Till the End of the Day,” Badfinger’s “Baby Blue,” Jessie Colter’s “I’m Not List,” and especially The Dave Clark Five’s “Glad All Over,” which was dubbed "The Coolest Song in the World for 2014" on Little Steven’s Underground Garage.
