Customer Reviews

I've been waiting for this!

There were so many albums put out last year that it was hard to keep up with what i did and didn’t have. Now I check off this list.
My to favorite things on itunes right now are Glee and Tyler Barham.

New Songs

There are 4 "new" songs for those looking only to complete their collection of Glee songs.
1) "Leavin' On A Jet Plane" - Mr. Shuester (Pilot - Director's Cut)
2) "I Wanna Sex You Up" - Acafellas (Acafellas)
3) "I Could Have Danced All Night" - Emma Pillsbury (Mash-Up)
4) "Burnin' Up" - Jesse St. James (The Power of Madonna)

The first three were released with only with the Glee: Volume 1 albums sold at Target
The last song was cut from the Madonna episode, but if you pre-ordered the mini-album on iTunes, they were still available for download.

However, if you were waiting to buy the Glee songs, this is a good deal. Each song was $1.25 when originally released, so if you bought the singles individually (like I did) it would cost $125 dollars. $80 is a really good bargain.

sweet :)

i'm really glad that most of the songs from season one are on here that weren't on the other released albums. but isn't $80 a bit much?? maybe if they knocked off the songs that people already have from the previous cd's i wouldn't have to search through all the songs to find the ones i don't have and it would be a bit more worth buying.
otherwise and overall, it's genius.

Years Active: '00s, '10s

When Glee aired its first episode in May 2009, the TV show only attracted a fraction of the viewers who tuned in for American Idol, which was shown on the same channel just one hour prior. The numbers looked bleak, but Billboard's music charts told a different story the following week, when the Glee version of Journey's "Don't Stop Believing" became a Top Five hit. Performed during the pilot by the castmates themselves, the song eventually sold over 700,000 downloads and paved the way for Glee's...
