Album Review

This hodgepodge of material from late AC/DC crooner Bon Scott features material he recorded with his first band, the Spektors, and later the Valentines. The majority of the Spektors material is pulled from a television broadcast, so the sound quality is on par with some of the less glamorous Nuggets recordings. The Valentines section sounds much better and features a 23-minute interview with co-founder and co-lead vocalist Vince Lovegrove.

Great early Bon Scott

Tracks 1-9 are Bon Scott with the Spektors. Tracks 10-18 are with the Valentines.

These are Bon Scott's earliest recordings. It inculudes his debut single 'Every Day I have to Cry' backed with 'To Know You is to Love you' he recorded with the Valentines. The early TV broadcast is interesting. i wish they had the whole show.

These historical recordings deserve to be in every AC/DC fan's collection!
