Album Review

As the years go by, the Cult become more traditional, which is a mixed blessing. At their best, the Cult can sound as powerful as any other hard rock outfit, but they have trouble coming up with enough decent riffs and songs to fill an album. The band sounds good on The Cult, but the songs aren't their strongest.

Customer Reviews

Why haven’t I found this before?

Trouble coming up with different riffs, what kind of review is that? The Cult has yet to put out a poor sounding album. This single consists of a cover, demo, and a remix.

Almost all Cult

The first song here is by The Fuzztones with Ian Astbury of the Cult on vocals. It is NOT The Cult doing the song. This song was originally released on a 10 inch vinyl single back in 1989.

The Cult

Correct. Go Go Guru is a Memphis Hip Shake demo. Cool to hear, but nothing new.
