Editors’ Notes

The second Newsboys album anchored by DC Talk alum Michael Tait, God’s Not Dead is the group’s true rebirth. Swapping most of their lyrical quirks and rock 'n' roll edge for a sleek, synth-driven sound, the CCM veterans provide rousing pop, big choruses, and celebratory lyrics for a collection designed to get stadiums (and churches) on their feet. The lyrics come courtesy of several worship-music stalwarts, and Tait’s old bandmate Kevin Max shows up for some harmonies. Songs of adoration are rarely so rousing.
