Really Hits Home

Nick Santino has always had a very homey, relatable tone about him and his music. He doesn't try to be a rockstar. Nick is really all about his fans and his music. When I heard about A Rocket To The Moon breaking up I was heart broken, but I know they will all gain from it. Nick has really showed that in this extended playlist. The first song, Miss Virgina, is a fun song and really shows Nick's fun side while still being serious. When Nick sings words like "finally" and "sin" you really hear what makes his voice unique. Nick has a very different style and take on music. Never Coming Back also shows Nick's opinion in a very raw sense. It has a catchy snap to it, but it's not a song you'd want to play with your parents in the room. The song itself is still fun to listen to and makes you want to sit around a table and talk about your life story. Many people have that thing that they never want to go back to, or that person that didn't realize what they had. We all have our own "Los Angeles." The song It's Alright is by far my favorite. Nick is very light hearted and caring, which is what this song is. You see a very romantic but still just a loyal friend come out of Nick in this song. One of the great things about his music is that you can tell it's real. No doubt he really felt the words and plays it like that. He says what every girl wants to hear, even if they don't know that. Sold My Soul and I have mixed feelings. It has kind of a weird start that makes you question what the song will be; but when Nick starts singing you feel it instantly. He sings about the last seven years and what's happened to him, but it brings us almost to tears. He wants to go home. Nick is nowhere near hitting rock bottom, he has a loyal fan base and the world ahead of him, but it doesn't always seem that way. Every fan he has has felt what he's feeling. We all want to know we've been a success, but sometimes we don't feel it. The last song on Going Home is one of the most inspiring songs I've ever heard and really shows the honest truth. We all screw up. Overall I would say this is an amazing EP and I can wait to hear more from Nick Santino and The Northern Wind. Just like A Rocket To The Moon; soon enough they will be touring across the globe from fans of all ages. Keep up the great work and never stop being you.

Nick's voice has always been a source of comfort for me, and as sad as I am that ARTTM is breaking up, I love that I'm able to hear him sing new music and that it doesn't disappoint. In fact, I loved the direction I thought arttm was going into and the fact that this is a country rock sound as well makes me an extremely satisfied listener.

These previews are fantastic! Heard 2 of these songs on stage
it! Amazing. Nick is a god with or with out a band!!!
