iTunes Review

DJ Khaled is like the Dana White of rap: He assembles the hottest MCs in a platinum octagon and unleashes them. I Changed a Lot pulls legends like JAY Z, Lil Wayne, and Rick Ross, as well as newcomers like Fetty Wap and August Alsina. Future stands to be the breakout star here, stealing scenes on five tracks. The album is stuffed with tear-the-club-up anthems, of course, but Khaled makes good on the title’s promise with nods to dancehall reggae (“My League” featuring Mavado) and bump-’n’-grind R&B (“Hold You Down” and “You Mine”). He closes on a thankful note, letting John Legend testify about brighter days ahead on “Most High.”

Oh great, "another one."

This producer is a joke with a Kanye sized ego but worse, he actually doesn't make anything worthwhile and his career is a waste. I'm shocked he's still doing anything since everybody hates this guy. Oh well, all of his songs sound the same since he pretty much started. Not talented at all, shame.

Another one... 🚮

Why do all his songs have to sound the same and have Chris brown in them? DJ Khaled needs to just retire instead of just putting out trash all the time. 💯

Everything sounds the same, and using the non-deluxe album to promote his restaurant?!? I can't mess with that, that's selling out. It's not about the music anymore and you can tell, it's all about promotion and collecting our money. The problem is, now the fans are catching on to it and you can already see people speaking up about how bad this album is. Come on Khalid, you used to make great music but now I think the money's gone to your head, just retire already

No overnight success, Khaled Mohamed Khaled toiled as a DJ for years prior to becoming an immensely successful, larger-than-life figure in rap music. During the latter half of the 2000s and throughout the following decade, surrounded by an ever-shifting cast of high-profile associates, Khaled factored into several of the rowdiest and most triumphant crossover rap hits. His first nine albums, released from 2006 through 2016, peaked within the Top Five of Billboard's rap chart, supported by singles...
