A Fantastic Score - "Opening" is gorgeous.

This score was like a breath of fresh air and was a little different from HGW's usual stuff, which I also love. My favorite track here is "Opening". The crescendos/decrescendos of the strings is fantastic, and there is just so much emotion in it. I agree with the other reviewer who mentioned that it was reminiscent of Thomas Newman's work, who is one of my favorite composers along with others like Rachel Portman, Alan Silvestri and one of my new personal favorites, Josh Kramer. If you like piano-driven orchestral cues, check out his "Beginnings" album on iTunes. But yeah, Gone Baby Gone was a great movie, and the score is fantastic. Get it!

Stunning movie, stunning music

This movie left me speechless. It touched upon something that blockbusters miss amongst all the violence, this movie is one that I will buy as soon as I can and treasure it as a real work of art. The music was lovely in it as well. I especially like the opening.
