Great music from an up-and-coming band

First time I heard of Gone For Days was at an acoustic show outside Boston. Gone For Days was the second act of the night, and when Chris Taylor (vocalist) began singing, all I could think was "It's Staind meets Skillet". It was a great show, (they played covers of "Through Glass" by Stone Sour and "It's Been Awhile" by Staind in addition to their own songs), and I found them on Facebook the next morning. I was very impressed with their showmanship, even in such a small environment as the bar it was in, and even acoustic I could tell these guys were a rock act to be remembered. I have been very pleased to see their progress, playing shows such as the Mansfield, MA Carnival of Madness stop in 2012, and Seether's "Rise Above Fest", as well as having "Guilty Pleasure" reach the top 10 on satellite radio. Their self-titled EP is hard hitting where it needs to be, catchy as anything, and the lyrics and themes expressed are something that I feel so many people can relate to. My personal favorites are "Sick Of Saving You", "Guilty Pleasure", and "Silent". Definitely keep watching these guys!

Great album!

First of GFD on SiriusXM's octane and have been looking for the album. Thanks for finally getting it on ITunes! Great start to a great band!

Perfect Fall Release!

I don't know what it is about this genre of music and the beginning of fall… I always turn to hard driving rock as an emergence from the dog-days of summer, and this album is the perfect drug for that addiction! Money speaks my language in tempo and content. You can see that the guys in the band are just regular guys working their arse off to make ends meet and commiserating with the rest of us in this tune. Guilty pleasure is just that… I "Miss that murder" every time I'm not paying attention to what's going on around me in a relationship or life in general, so the lyrics match the driving riff and gritty vocals. Thanks for helping me bring the sweatshirt days of autumn in with a bang!
