EDITORS’ NOTES

Five albums in, Moon Taxi gets on the good foot more than ever. The Nashville band's blend of indie pop and alt-rock always had a dash of danceability, but that quality is embraced wholeheartedly here. There's no shortage of pop savvy on display with the titanium hooks of the title track and "Not Too Late." But Moon Taxi largely eschews their rock side, alternating between dreamy ballads like the gossamer "No More Worry" and groove-conscious tracks like the syncopated, R&B-inflected "Nothing Can Keep Us Apart" and disco-underpinned "Two High."
