Customer Reviews

love it

Awesome as usual

Ska is dead, and here's the culprit.

If Streetlight Manifesto is the embodiment of all that is good in ska, then lazy cash grabs like this from a band that hasn't had a good record since Why Do They Rock So Hard? is the reason it's dying. Much less and epitaph than a sarcastic limerick carved into the grave of all that was ska. Shame on you RBF.

Very disappointed

If your looking for some fresh new recording like "Ska Goes Acoustic" or even our favorite guys sitting down to give us a good mellow CD for the collection. You're not gonna like this CD! It's a very sad attempt at copying everyone else, but this is no MTV unplugged my friends. Just the same old recording we have heard since '95 only some studio jockey EDITED OUT THE ELECTRIC GUITAR AND ADDED AN ACOUSTIC IN!!! You can easily hear there is no difference in Aaron's voice, go ahead and sample some songs, everything else matches up. This gives a horrible contrasting sound of old recordings trying to sync in something that doesn't fit! This was a good idea and I hope they revisit and done well, will give us a good album once again, not some "studio re-mix"! Come on guys after 16 years don't start going this route.

The group cultivated an underground following that broke into the mainstream in summer 1997, when the single "Sell Out" became a modern rock radio and MTV favorite. Reel Big Fish's...
