All Right...Not standyoutish

They sound a little something like The Plain White Tees with a little more...Indie? Of course they aren't award-winning like the Fray, Coldplay, The Killers, etc. These people just sound like they were pulled off the streets to sing. Nothing that memorable.

I wont tell

"I wont tell" shines like a gem in an otherwise unexeptional album.

Sound track for a Disney film

Bubble gum comes to mind. Polished to a sheen, but lacking the heart and spark that make contemporaries of the Animators far more palatable.

Devon Copley and Alex Wong comprise the songwriting and performing essence of the power poppish indie band the Animators. Wong, a Bay Area native, briefly drummed in a Los Angeles band called the Din Pedals, which released one Radiohead-influenced album on Epic in the late '90s before disbanding in 1999.
