My Favorite Album This Year

Levi Weaver is an incredibly good songwriter and it is surprising that he's not yet famous for it. All of that could change with this album. Everything on it is a memorable gem, but favorites include "A Bad Example, A Helping Hand" with it's stand-up-and cheer chorus, "Good From Evil", the evocative "We're Tornadoes When We Dance" and "Drink (Drink, Drink)", which is reminiscent of Damien Rice and the beautiful "String Theory". But to select favorites doesn't really do it justice because it works so well as a coherent piece, a kind of country/indie rock opera. I discovered Levi through a Facebook friend and got an early release of this. Of every new release this year from major artists, this is the one I've played the most.

Completely Stimulating

You can't just listen to this once and completely take in all that's happening. Give it a few ethereal spins and see if you don't find something new EVERY TIME.

Exceptionally talented

Levi Weaver is an incredibly exceptional talent and he always has been. As the front man for stories of London and shortly after that headlining his own shows, Levi has a way of bringing you into his performances as if your part of the story too. His sound is refreshing and melodic and so different in the best way possible. Fresh glass of ice cold water on a hot Texas day in a blue mustang ;). Great job Levi! Were all proud of you !
