An Alright Release

I am a big fan of TJS but this EP just seemed half assed to me. Blair's vocals felt like he wasn't even trying. I love the music, hated the remixes. I can't wait for the new album, I hear it might be a two disc LP :) And this album is listed wrong, it's "The Jealous Sound" not "Jealous Sound"

This band is amazing, i've seen them live and they are bringing the emo punk scene back to from the dead. Strongly recommend buying the full length.

Formed: 2000 in Los Angeles, CA

Genre: Alternative

Years Active: '00s, '10s

Sunday's Best's Pedro Benito (guitar), John McGinnis of Neither Trumpets nor Drums (bass), ex-Knapsack singer/guitarist Blair Shehan, and former Pulley drummer Tony Palermo began their journey as the Jealous Sound at the tail-end of the 1990s. They signed with Better Looking in summer 2000 and quickly issued a self-titled EP; it went on to sell 11,000 copies and to gigs with At the Drive-In, the Get Up Kids, the Promise Ring, and Death Cab for Cutie, which made the band's buzz soar.
