Astonishing album

This is such an exquisite album. From start to finish, the music offered is exceptionally unique and marvelous. It is unlike anything you have ever heard.

This isn't mountain goats

I saw them live a while ago. The lead ego is deplorable to the point other members remained off stage most of the show. The attitude so out of control love from fans is not permitted. This direction isn't artistry it's confusing. Don't like just because of the great past. Don't purchase and maybe the car will pull itself out of the gutter and return to the road.

The venue was packed with die hard fans and we were blown away by the intensity and depth of the performance. John and the band reveled in each other and in the love of the fans. The songs from "Goths" are fantastically good, just like their earlier work.

If you are so very lucky to have one of their few concert dates near you, get there! Either way this album is brilliant.
