Daniel Takes it to the next level

This is a great album! Since the release of the phenomenal single "if you're not the one", I thought of buying this album and it's great! It is a mixture of an r&b and a ballad type. Songs like James Dean, Friday and I Can't Read You has a dance factor while songs like Honest Questions, Without The Girl and If You're Not The One makes an inspirational impact. Definitely, this is the best album I bought. Too bad one of its best songs doesn't make it at the US album, Never Gonna Leave Your Side. All in all, this is an album of inspiration

Ready to Dance?

Chances are, if you’ve heard a Daniel Bedingfield song, you’ve heard, “If You’re Not the One,” a beautifully touching ballad. However, if that’s all you know of Daniel, you’re missing out—he originally burst on the scene in the UK because of his amazing dance song “Gotta Get Thru This (D’n’D Radio Edit),” which also received some airplay in the United States. During the course of this album, Daniel includes other ballads and some mid-tempo songs; out of the latter, “He Don’t Love You Like I Love You” is particularly good. Where Daniel really shines, though, is one the dance stormers (which are club-y but not in a techno or sugary sense). In addition to “Gotta Get Thru This” (originally recorded by Daniel in his house), other songs to check out are “James Dean (I Wanna Know)” (which perhaps exceeds GGTT in amazing-club-song-ness) and “Friday.” You might not want to buy the whole album, but some of the songs on it are top-notch and definitely worth purchasing.

(As others have mentioned, Daniel Bedingfield is the brother of Natasha Bedingfield and has another album, “Second First Impressions,” available in the UK; however, none of the songs on his second album can rival the dance classics he’s given us on this album and the ballads generally aren’t as good, either.)

This CD is awesome.

I would definately buy this. I love the all of the songs. Also, look for his other CD, 'Second First Impression'. It's only out in the UK right now, but order it or wait for it to be released here, because it's so awesome as well.
