iTunes Review

The magical, aptly titled Grace is Jeff Buckley’s only fully realized album—and one that has grown in stature since its 1994 release. Buckley’s angelic voice recalls his famous folkie father, Tim, as it floats over the album's heady songwriting and wild-eyed guitar virtuosity. Brace yourself: the serpentine melodies, tormented climaxes, and whispering intimacy of the best moments will leave you breathless. These highlights include the title track, "Lover, You Should've Come Over,” and the luminous cover of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah.”

Cant wait to meet him in the resurrection.

Desert Island Choice….

I still remember the first time I heard Jeff Buckley it was Mojo Pin on KCRW, his voice struck a chord deep in my heart and soul. I never got to see him live but he lives on in his work. Grace is my desert island disc now and forever. I love this version simply because there are more tracks to love like Forget Her. And yes like the previous review I hope to meet him or just hear his new work in the afterlife. Peace and Love.

The essence of all that is beautiful

If you have a soul, it will be touched, embraced, and shown the brightest and warmest of colors that eternity can bear to show. Buy this album.

His audacious debut, Grace, made him one of the most popular alternative artists of the '90s, accentuated by his...
