EDITORS’ NOTES

Grease, which hit screens in 1978, offers a gently satiric look back at the allegedly simpler '50s, when couples like John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John might woo each other with fizzy pop delicacies like "You're the One That I Want." And while rock 'n' roll revivalists Sha Na Na supply six solid cover versions, originals like Travolta's doleful "Sandy," Frankie Avalon's winking "Beauty School Dropout," and Frankie Valli's effervescent title track are what make this nostalgia trip a keeper.

Grease

Queen Camie

This is a great album that puts me in a good mood everytime I listen to the record or watch the movie

Great soundtrack to the film!

GlambertGirl84

I'm a long time Grease girl because John Travolta is one of my favorite actors being young in the 70's as my mom did being the same age as each other and 30 years older than me. Now the movie is pushing 40 so I have a friend and her husband as they were both 20 when the film came out and my dad was their age at the same time. I love the movie and this is the greatest out of John Travolta's career! Fantastic!

Summer of '77......

I had just moved to Mahopac NY in this Summer. It's all people talked about. The movie not the moving......
