the beginning of something wonderful

yeah the songs are old now and yes they are kinda tired but this recording was part of the begining of the Worship tidal wave that has swept our country and the world. The Lord began long before this but this is the "cresting of the wave" this is when it really hit everywhere. the songs on this recording represented some serious departures from normal worship stuff even of its day when things were changing.
Though I would call it history, the changless message of the Gospel is here and so that breathes life into the most tired melody lines! God is the Strength of My Life is one of those songs - first aired publicly here - that can be transformative. The value of this worship recording and a few of its sister recordings mark the begining of a world wide revival of Biblical Worship that has and is sweeping the whole earth. Enjoy history and the Lord's praises all in one sitting.

One of Integrity's finest worship albums!

I am mainly writing this review in response to MGEV08's review. What is the point of being so negative in a review especially when God's glory is being so vividly shown through the songs? Tired! The most tired melody lines! If you really believe that then why write anything? This is the only worship album you have reviewed. Why do you have such negative things to say? I have probably listened to this album over 300 times over the years and have never grown tired of it. The songs are just as God-glorifying today as they were when I first heard them some 20-years ago. You seem so matter of fact with your criticism of these songs. I feel sorry for you that you would state such things here at iTunes. As for me I was, am and will always be blessed by these worship songs that are anything but tired. I HIGHLY recommend this album to all of God's children.

He is the King = love it! Sing it loudly!
