Classic Michael Card

This is the second of Michael Card's albums in his Biblical Imagination Series. He started with Luke. For each gospel he will record an album, write a book and put on Biblical Imagaination Conferences throughout the country. On this album, Michael does what he has always done best - take scripture, and creatively put it to music, pointing us to Christ. Another wonderful additional to the Michael Card collection.

Huge contribution to the catalogue of Christ inspired music

I've loved Michael's music from the beginning, but the Biblical Imagination emphasis of his gospel efforts, especially this the second in his planned four releases, is lyrically and musically taking the listener to a new level of understanding (the mind) and emotion (the heart). Well done!

The only fault I find.... It's TOO SHORT!!!
But it is beguiling enough to leave you willing to listen & listen again, which is good- as I have heard records where the substance gets lost in its lengthiness!
Stand out tracks, "The Paradigm", "Service of the Sod". The opening (Choir number) & the closing "Is It Over Now?" are two bookends very unexpected, the latter of which might make you want to talk to people you've not spoken to in years.

The record label insisted they produce Card's music as their first project, and his acoustic folk sound appeared from the very start; among his records was 1981's Present...
