Recorded in the Jamaican dub pioneer’s adopted home of Switzerland, this 2004 album finds Lee Perry collaborating with The WhiteBellyRats, a tight band of Swiss musicians who add a sprightly bounce to mellow tracks like “Purity Rock” and phased-out synths to the spacey “Voodoo.” But most importantly, The WhiteBellyRats provide plenty of space for Scratch to speak his mind, from his ribald thoughts on “P***y Man” to his precarious mental state on the anthemic “I Am a Psychiatrist.”
