What happened to these guys?

I saw these guys shortly after this cd was released at EMO's in Austin. They were lost in a shuffle of opening acts, but are the only band I remember seeing that night. WOW! What a great show. What a GREAT album! Dynamic and agressive hardcore with a message. Are there any original members of this band left? -I dont pretend to know. They just sound like another growly speed metal band now. Maybe this style had no nitch to fall into, so they stopped trying to be original and started trying to be Slayer.

When I first got this CD I did not have high expectations. I soon relized what all the hype was. A couple of the songs seem like they keep getting built up and up then the song is over. I love how they make you anticipate the heavyness but it never comes. I love the vocals and the lyrics, I feel all tough and wanna smash stuff when I hear the lyrics. Great album and is now wanna of my favorites

Formed in the late '90s, Himsa is a ferocious, punishing, harsh metalcore band. The name Himsa is a play on the Sanskrit word "ahimsa," which refers to peace and nonviolence. (Historians have often noted that civil rights...
