iTunes Review

Cataclysmic rockers such as "Welcome to the Jungle," "Paradise City," and "You Could Be Mine" mix well with the band's pop side ("Sweet Child O' Mine"), their ballads ("Patience"), their epics ("Civil War," "November Rain") and their exemplary covers. Bob Dylan's "Knockin' On Heaven's Door" becomes an arena anthem. Paul McCartney's "Live and Let Die" gets sent straight over the top.

My bad

Ok ok ok earlier i wrote about this album and gave it 3 stars. I got it that morning, just went to the dentist, was in a bad mood. I was dissapointed by all of the slow songs on the disc (which I had never heard before, so it was a learning experience). Look, I take it back this really is one of the best albums you can buy. Advice: LISTEN TO THE ENTIRE CD 2 OR 3 TIMES. BELIEVE ME IT WILL BE WORTH YOUR WHILE! Once getting used to it, you will absolutely love this cd like I now do

At a time when pop was dominated by dance music and pop-metal, Guns N' Roses brought raw, ugly rock & roll crashing back into the charts. They were not nice boys; nice boys don't play rock & roll. They were ugly, misogynistic, and violent; they were also funny, vulnerable, and occasionally sensitive, as their breakthrough hit, "Sweet Child O' Mine," showed. While Slash and Izzy Stradlin ferociously spit out dueling guitar riffs worthy of Aerosmith or the Stones, Axl Rose screeched out his tales of...
