i was was waiting for this one!!

dont expect to hear face to face but this album is awesome, trever sounds great!!

Great Music From Face To Face Lead Singer

I have had this for a while and it never gets old. Trever Keith does a great job on his first solo release. I have been a fan of Face to Face for years and it is great to hear how Trever's music has matured through time. Great job!!

Might as well be called-Ignorance is Bliss: Part 2

So I guess this is the album I was waiting for for the past 12 years, huh? First of all, I'm a giant Face to Face fan and that's how I stumbled on this album. I love Face To Face's traditional sound (excited for their 2010 release), but Ignorance is Bliss is by far my favorite release of theirs. That aside, this is an outstanding album. I can't remember the last time I bought a cd, and the immediately listened to it from start to finish. Well, it happened with Melancholics Anonymous.

As I noted earlier, while listening to this cd, you can't help but think "Oh, yeah, this really sounds similar to Ignorance is Bliss." Additional thoughts I had were, "This also sounds like the Cure, at times, as well as has an ongoing electronic vibe to it (Think a small bit of Viva Death/Adore by SP)." Funny thing, this album even opens with the heaviest/fastest track it has to offer, Cross your heart, just like Ignorance openned with Overcome. I could go on with comparisons, but there's no more need to. This is a terrific album that stands on its own.

So yeah, if you liked/appreciated Ignorance is Bliss at all, buying this cd is a no brainer. If you just like good, lighter guitar/alternative rock, good song writing, with flavors of Adore by Smashing Pumpkins and at times influences of the Cure, pick this up. No I take it back, just pick up this cd and you won't be sorry no matter what you're into. A++++++++++
