A MUST BUY

davidmcalhany,

knife party continues to get better and better with each track and remix, this EP is no different. If you have the money pre-order this and if you're reading this when its out just buy it; you won't regret it

Not their best, still pretty good

nbbnumber1fan,

They are trying to go a little bit in another direction and i just don't follow that much. All of the songs (except VIP) sound pretty much the same. It seemed like they tried to reach out to the club audience a lot more. Some parts were cool and some parts (including drops) didn't work well at all with the song. Overall, its not phenomenal, and its not horrible. Its just OK. I'm such a big fan of Knife Party, its just a bit of a disappointment to hear this type of stuff from them. I hope in the future they make a lot more EPs like "100% no modern talking" and "Rage Valley"

About Knife Party

Knife Party is a side project featuring the two founding members of Perth, Australia's long-running drum'n'bass act Pendulum. In late 2011, Gareth McGrillen and Rob Swire debuted their aggressive electro-house/dubstep guise with 100% No Modern Talking, released digitally through the Earstorm label and provided as a free download on the duo's website. They also matched up with Swedish House Mafia for the Virgin-issued "Antidote," billed as Swedish House Mafia vs. Knife Party. Remixes of tracks by Swedish House Mafia ("Save the World"), Porter Robinson ("Unison"), and Nero ("Crush on You") trickled out around the same time. In mid-2012 the duo released their second EP, Rage Valley, again digitally on Earstorm, followed by the announcement a few months later that a third EP would be released at the beginning of 2013. ~ Andy Kellman
