Album Review

Most of the songs found on All That Could Have Been are similar to the album versions found on The Fragile, with rougher vocals and crowd noise to change things up. The few songs from Pretty Hate Machine ("Terrible Lie," "Sin," and "Head Like a Hole") get the best treatment, changed around to include better guitar work and more experimental samples that compliment the songs nicely. Nine Inch Nails are a powerful live force, and fans of Trent Reznor may enjoy this live album very much.

Itunes needs is missing an NIN album

This album is really great. They just need to get the Pretty Hate Machine Album.

This is an excellent introduction to NIN, giving suberb versions of the studio tracks that sometimes (see Terrible Lie or Closer) eclipse the album versions entirely. A Tour de Force and a vital component to any NIN fan's collection. Also check out the DVD of this is not to be missed. For 5.99, this is the best buy in the Music Store...period.

Unlike the vast majority of industrial artists, Reznor wrote melodic, traditionally structured songs where lyrics...
